3. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
The personal data entered by you into our application system will be stored and processed solely for the purpose of the application and appointment procedure of the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contractual basis) or § 26 BDSG 2018 (data processing to establish employment relationship).
With your online application, you give us your consent to store and process this data solely for the purpose of the application and recruitment procedure. The legal basis for processing in these cases is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent of the data subject).
4. Recipients of the data or categories of recipients
Access to the data is provided to human resources personnel of the MPI for Biological Intelligence. These submit the data to the selection committee formed for the respective application procedure, as well as the Equal Opportunity Officer, the Integration Officer and the local works council. A transfer to other third parties does not take place.
5. Storage time
Your data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the storage is no longer applicable. Longer storage takes place only if you have given us your consent.
6. Your rights
You are in principle entitled to information (Article 15 GDPR), correction (Article 16 GDPR), cancellation (Article 17 (1) GDPR), limitation of processing (Article 18 GDPR), data transferability (Article 20 GDPR) and revocation of consent (Article 7 (3) GDPR).
